Half the internet still tells you to claim a credit that ended.

The 30% federal credit for solar ended on December 31, 2025. So did the one for heat pumps, insulation and windows. The EV credits went before them. Sites everywhere still say to claim them, because nothing on a page tells you when it went out of date.

Money is still out there, in state programs and utility rebates that open, run out and reopen without announcing it. Everything here carries the day somebody read the program's own page, and says so when that was a while ago.

Start with Is it open in my state?: all 50 states and DC, each with a status and the date it was last checked.

Utility programs Latest

California's $8,000 heat pump rebate is reserved. LADWP still pays.

HEEHRA single-family rebates have been fully reserved since February 2026. LADWP still pays up to $2,500 per ton, and its page still adds a dead tax credit.

What the stamp is promising

Read at the source
The state energy office, the utility or the IRS. Not an installer's blog, and not an aggregator quoting one.
Dated, not "updated"
The day the amounts were checked, printed on the article. Older than the stamp means nobody has looked since.
Gaps are labeled
What could not be confirmed is named as unverified rather than quietly borrowed from someone else.
